Wellness & Mental Health Services

Partnerships with licensed counselors and therapists to address a wide range of mental health challenges commonly faced by veterans, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, and adjustment issues related to transitioning to civilian life. These may include trauma-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and other evidence-based treatments proven to be effective in addressing trauma-related symptoms.

Financial Literacy / Entrepreneurship

Our financial literacy and entrepreneurship training equips veterans with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of personal finance and explore opportunities for entrepreneurship. Through interactive workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions, veterans learn essential financial concepts such as budgeting, saving, investing, and debt management. Additionally, our program provides guidance on starting and managing a small business, including topics such as business planning, marketing, and financial management.

Transportation

At OVAL, we understand the importance of ensuring that our participants have access to essential healthcare and social services. That's why we offer transportation services to assist participants in getting to and from their mental and physical health appointments, as well as appointments with social services.

Meals

OVAL provides comprehensive meals, room, and board services to ensure their basic needs are met while they engage in our programs. Our meals are thoughtfully prepared to offer nutritious and satisfying options, catering to various dietary preferences and restrictions.
